EPEAT 2.0 has arrived and delivers the most comprehensive approach available for advancing sustainable electronics in the marketplace. It represents the next generation of sustainable electronics leadership by deepening impact across supply chains, strengthening environmental and social performance, and setting a higher standard for transparency and accountability across the electronics industry.
EPEAT has been raising the bar and defining sustainability leadership for electronics for almost two decades— and EPEAT 2.0 represents the continued evolution of EPEAT as the premiere global electronics ecolabel.
A multi-year effort to update EPEAT 1.0 criteria has recently concluded, however EPEAT 2.0 represents more than just updated criteria. EPEAT 2.0 is not just the underlying criteria, but an ecosystem of experts, programs and a community of practice that enables meaningful progress. For example, our Supplier Engagement Program (SEP) for EPEAT provides valuable resources, training and advisory services for suppliers of EPEAT Participating Manufacturers to increase efficiency, accuracy and time to market for sustainable products
